# Tutorial 2: veGPT Mining

To encourage sGPT holders to participant shitDAO governance and build the strong community, 30% of all sGPT tokens are to be distributed to sGPT stakers ( veGPT holders).&#x20;

Currently, the daily reward sGPT suppy is **148,964,38** sGPT. And we distribute the reward to veGPT holders every 24 hours.

## Step 1: Stake sGPT to get veGPT

First, you need to go to deposit page (<https://www.smap.ai/deposit>).

Make sure you have sGPT in your balance

Input the stake balance and select the lock time.

Next, you can click approve sGPT first and once approved successfully you can click lock sGPT to get your veGPT.

Once you have veGPT, you also can increase your lock amount or increase your lock time to get more veGPT.

### Step 2: Go to My Assets section to verify you quality the veGPT mining

Once you have veGPT, you can go to <https://www.smap.ai/> My Assets section. If it shows a green check sysmbol which means you quality for veGPT mining.

From now, you don't need to anything. ShitDAO will send reward to your account every 24 hours and you can claim sGPT to your wallet any time through clicking Claim Button (you need to cover the gas).
